Putnam County Office of Public Safety is seeking an experienced EMS Support Specialist for full time employment. This person will be responsible for trauma sheet tracking and data entry. Ensures all necessary information for billing is received. Schedules non-emergency runs and all ambulette and transfer crews, nights and weekends when needed. Completes, files, and maintains payroll forms for employees paid through the Office of Public Safety. Acts as a transfer crew member during day-time hours, and as crew member for emergency runs as needed. Schedules ambulances for regular inspection by office staff. General office and clerical duties. Minimum Qualifications: • High School diploma and Emergency Medical Technician certification; supplemented by at least six (6) months experience in an office environment; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must have a basic understanding of Safety Service responsibilities and general accounting principles. Working knowledge of word processing and databases.
